Mozakir completed his Part 1 BA (Hons) in Architecture at Birmingham School of Architecture and Design who is currently studying for his MA in Design Management. As an ambassador for the university, his previous work has included supporting events, mentoring, working alongside the staff team to welcome new applicants as well as playing a key role in inspiring younger children who have a passion for design at annual family days at the university.
He is also a keen photographer and occasionally joins a local community of photography meets and has had his images featured by Birmingham Live and the BBC. He was also the president of the Designers Guild Society; the group share skills across all disciplines within the School of Architecture and Design promoting a collaborative atmosphere within the school.
With this experience, Mozakir has been able to bring a great set of skills co-organising events like BIM in Birmingham with Victoria Farrow, taking the lead on aspects of the event such as social media, graphics, leading the student team and assisting in the development of the event year on year. He hopes to learn new skills with the MA Design Management course at BCU to start up his own multidisciplinary studio in the near future!
